Tour Itinerary, November 1-9, 2004
Day 1
November 1, Monday
Travel for North American participants from North America to Israel.
Day 2
November 2, Tuesday
Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport of all participants, both from North America and Europe (ideally between 13:00-17:00). Transfer by bus to Ramat Rachel Hotel in Jerusalem. Greeting by Jay and Meridel Rawlings after dinner. Ramat Rachel is a luxurious hotel in the middle of a green oasis of peace and tranquility. The view of the Old City of Jerusalem, Bethlehem and the biblical landscape of the Judean Hills is breathtaking.
Day 3
November 3, Wednesday
8:00 a.m. departure. Overview of the city of Jerusalem
Travel to Chaim Sheba Hospital for introduction to the rehabilitation of terror bombing victims, by Professor Shlomo Noy and Dr. Zachi Seiv Ner.
12:00 Travel to Jaffa Institute to the ministry to poor and needy kids on the streets of Tel Aviv/Jaffa. Tour of Old Jaffa. Bus ride to Caesarea and afternoon meeting on Mt. Carmel, where Elijah defeated the false prophets of Baal
Jezreel Valley, Nazareth, Kana, to Kibbutz Ein Gev. Ein Gev is a resort located on the Eastern shores of the Sea of Galilee at the foot of the Golan Heights where the shoreline is surrounded by green lawns and lush palm trees. Short evening program with Jay and Meridel.
Day 4
November 4, Thursday
Walk where Jesus walked around the Sea of Galilee. Visit to the Mt. of Beatitudes, where we will serve you the communion as a group and to talk about the meaning of the Beatitudes, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” Matt. 5:6
The Lord’s Supper will be served by Members of the Board of Israel Vision/Jerusalem Vistas .
Visit the place of the Gadarenes, Bethsaida, Capernaum, where we will view the traditional harbor and the place where Jesus healed the woman with the issue of blood when she touched His garment. Chorazin, Jesus Boat at Kibbutz Nof Ginnosar, and view a film about the discovery of the boat, a time when we will be able to share personal testimonies of what the trip means to people. St. Peter’s Primacy Church, which commemorates the harbor and is the likely place where Jesus would have tied up his boat when He came up to the Mt. of Beatitudes. . Return to Ein Gev by boat from Capernaum at the end of the day.

Day 5
November 5, Friday
Morning departure for the Golan Heights via Ramat Gader where we will stop and pray over Jordan and Syria and be reminded while overlooking the Sea of Galilee about Jesus healing the blind man. We will also visit the panoramic site commemorating the fallen soldiers of the ‘67 and ‘73 wars, who fought so hard in this area next to Tel Gader, where Jesus fed the 4000 and visit the monument erected by the Israeli Government which bears an inscription that in this place that the “Gentiles gave glory to the God of Israel.” Katzrin, where we will view a film on the importance of the Golan Heights.
Tel Dan where we will visit the oldest mud gates which date back prior to Abraham. Caesarea Phillipi where Peter said to Jesus, “You are the Christ.” Banias, followed by prayer at the Good Fence and back to Tiberias for the Galilee Experience multimedia presentation.
During this trip we will be taking time to pray in strategic places all along the borders of Israel for the nation.

Day 6
November 6, Saturday
Beit Shean, a spectacular archaeological ruin from Roman times will transport you back to the Biblical era. Travel down the Jordan Valley to Kumran, Masada. Then to the Dead Sea for a swim at Ein Gedi followed by a sunset drive up to Jerusalem. Seminar with Jay and Meridel at Ramat Rachel and special guests
Day 7
November 7, Sunday
Visit to the Western Wall, Temple Mount, David’s City and the most recent archaeological finds there. Visit the Temple Institute with Rabbi Chaim Richman., as they prepare the priestly garments and Levitical equipment for the Temple, the “house of prayer for all nations”
Lunch at Abu Ghosh to meet our Arab friends. Afternoon at the Jerusalem Vistas office with David Rawlings, Chaya Solomons, and the entire Israel Vision Production Team.
Evening seminar with Jay and Meridel and Professor Robert Sternberg at Ramat Rachel.
Dr. Steinberg is Advisor to the Prime Minister.
Day 8
November 8, Monday
Overview of the new city, the Kenesset, Hadassah Hospital and the Supreme Court Building, followed by a visit to a very special group ministering to the poor of Jerusalem
Yad V’Shem Holocaust memorial with guide with guide.
Afternoon, Garden Tomb and prayer. Remainder of afternoon free for shopping for tour group.
Afternoon, Board Meeting at Ramat Rachel with Jay and Meridel and David Rawlings (Board Members only)
Evening, Gala farewell dinner at Ramat Rachel with Hora Dance Group led by Adi Gordon Rawlings, David Rawlings’ wife.
Day 9
November 9, Tuesday
Transfer to airport and return to Europe
or North America
